Medtronic of Canada Ltd. Standard Returns Policy


The following Return Policy will be strictly enforced. Exceptions must be authorized through Medtronic Returns Department. Credit will be issued once Medtronic has received the product and verified that all return criteria have been met. Product eligible for credit may be subject to a re-stocking fee of 15%.

The information required to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number includes: customer name and address; product number; quantity to be returned; lot or serial number; purchase order number and the reason for return. Minimum Criteria for product return:

  • Product must be in original packaging, unmarked, unopened and undamaged.
  • Seal of all implantable products must not be damaged or broken.
  • Within ninety (90) days of Invoice date.
  • Medtronic logistics errors and damaged product must be reported within three (3) business days of receiving.


Exclusions:

  • Capital equipment, special orders or custom made products.
  • Any products which require temperature control or special storage conditions.
  • Product deteriorated due to improper storage, handling abuse or any other cause not attributable directly or indirectly to Medtronic.
  • Product nearing expiry.


Return Instructions:

Carefully package original unmarked product in a second shipping carton for protection and labeling. Freight on all returned product must be prepaid. For returns due to Medtronic error, contact Medtronic for shipping details.
